Samsung GALAXY Note launched in India at Rs. 34990



Samsung has launched their new Android smartphone device, the Samsung GALAXY Note. 
It has 
5.3 inch (1280 x 800 pixels), 
285 PPI HD Super AMOLED display which is the largest on any phone till date
1.4GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
pen-input technology, called the S Pen for sketching and artwork
It is  9.65mm thick and weighs 178g.
8 MP camera with LED Flash that could record 1080p HD videos at 24~30fps
plays videos at 1080p
has 2 MP front facing video calling camera
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct, 
3G HSPA+ at 21Mbps, 
Bluetooth v 3.0, 
A-GPS and NFC (optional)
Stereo FM Radio with RDS, 
16GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD and 
an 2,500mAh battery.

They have also added a new category, S Choice in the Samsung Apps that features apps that are designed for the Galaxy Note S Pen. There are pre-installed Chat-on Messaging app and S Planner planning tool that integrates with the phone’s To-do tool.

The Samsung GALAXY Note is priced at Rs. 34,990 (MRP) and it would be available across India by next week.
